Farewell
We here at = United Kingdom Land Forces = have decided that after being around for 14 yrs it is time to close our doors.
=UKLF= was started in 1998 by $unR@y aka Ed Harwood his first recruit/member was brio =UKLF= who is still here today, sadly the same cannot be said for Sunray who passed away 9th Apr 2003. There have been many members over the 14 yrs who have come and gone like the games which =UKLF= has played.
It all started with Delta Force which in it’s time was one hell of a game, =UKLF= progressed through all the Delta Force games and were in many leagues and ladders which =UKLF= did very well in and was no stranger to being at the top. From there as gamming grew, so did we.
We had two squadrons at one time one which was playing Ghost Recon and one, that stayed with the Delta Force games. As time passed we went into the battlefield series and Call of Duty. Again as we grew we had multiple servers, which were full most of the time. We had training sessions 2 days a week, most if not all of our members were on every night of the week not because of a requirement by =UKLF= but because it became a place were we could meet good friends and have some great banter on our comms channel.
But as time moves on so do we, some of our members who were young and single are now married and have children others who were married and had young children which have seemed to grow up in front of our eyes and that leaves the others, far to many to mention and then of course there are the old buggers who had nothing else better to do.
There are far to many people who I would like to thank and mention who over the years have put in a lot of their own time into helping run things here at =UKLF= from site work to training, to just having an ear to talk too and for me to have those names to turn from just names on a screen into good friends.
I would like to say to all those fellow gamers who we have played along side and against it has been a privilege for me and =UKLF=.
We have a saying for $unR@y which is “Sunray is Down. I say again Sunray is Down. And now it is the same for =UKLF=..... Down... but as it is for Sunray, =UKLF= will always be a big part of who I am and the man/player I have become.

=UKLF BF3 Server
We have taken the next step and have aquired a BF3 Server.
We hope that you join us on our server for some good clean fun but please remember that this has been paid for by =UKLF= members and if asked to do something by a =UKLF= Member we expect that you comply.....as if you don't you will be asked to leave and if that does not work then you will be removed.
Have fun but be respectfull of other players...........
